SHARK POINT
It is a destination for full day trips only as the dive site is more than one and a half hour away from the village of Bayahibe, close to Catalinita Island. It is one of the few sites in the Dominican Republic where reef sharks, nurse sharks and giant stingrays are seen on a regular basis. There are numerous caverns to explore and many ancient corals that are home to bottom dwelling nurse sharks, eels, southern stingrays and eagle rays. There is no shortage of things to see here.
Shark Point is 25m/82ft deep wall, a great exploration site for advanced divers.
