Catalina Island – Isla Catalina, a beautiful Caribbean island, a very popular destination for scuba diving and snorkeling trips, specially for travelers coming by cruise ships to La Romana port.

It is the most promoted excursion among the other dive shops because of the short distance from Bayahibe and the port. You will have a good experience if you don’t mind many divers and snorkelers around you, especially during the cruise ship season when it gets a bit crowded. Because of many people visiting the area, the dive sites do not have as much marine life as other sites we go to, the corals are getting damaged more and more. The return boat ride is usually a bit rough, the sea gets wavy in the afternoon in that area and some people might get seasick.
