EL PEÑON AQUARIUM

The Aquarium II is located east of Bayahibe village. Some divers might get confused with the name, there is another site called the Aquarium by Catalina island. This dive site is close to El Peñon. These two dives are usually done together and most of the time as part of a day trip to Piscina Natural and Saona Island.

The Aquarium II is 12 – 15 m / 39 – 49 ft deep with lots reef marine life and beautiful corals. This is a perfect place for beginners or for divers that don’t like to go deep and love to see lots of fish. This is one of our favorite dive spots beside El Peñon. When you come scuba diving to Bayahibe, this dive site is a must. There is big chance to see turtles, stingrays and even sharks.
